Hi all,

We're planning a new, low cost, dedicated server range for launch early-mid next quarter.

The plan is to provide a range of single celeron, single p4, and dual xeon servers, with os installed (Linux & W2k) with minimal support (read: reboots, emergency cover, freephone during office hours), but with generous config and bandwidth allocations for pricing starting at 99.95 euro per month.

Any thoughts, ideas, etc? We will be launching the service here and via email to our current customers first, so we value your feedback and ideas on how we can make this an ideal service!

Good idea. It does depend on the spec obviously.

One thing to consider is much lower bandwidth/spec for a lower cost. I'm thinking on backup MX, sec DNS, etc. I don't know how you'd desuade the overnight pr0n/spam guys with that though, perhaps a long activation time?

Not commiting, but interested.
