What is Broadband (DSL)?
Broadband (DSL - Digital Subscriber Line) takes an ordinary phone
line, and splits into the part used by voice or fax communication,
and the unused portion. This unused part is then connected to the
internet at the exchange, and provides a permanent, “always-on”
connection at speeds of up to 1 megabit per second. That's about
25 times faster than downloading using a standard modem connection,
and 8 times faster than the fastest ISDN connection.
The voice and fax part? It remains as it always was – you can continue
to use the same line to make voice and fax calls.
What are the advantages of 365 Business Broadband ?
