“We have experienced our busiest quarter since inception,” says Stephen McCarron, CEO of Hosting365. “Our great value coupled with strong service and support means we are attracting new customers by the dozens. We expect our position as the leading hosting provider to continue to grow month by month.”
Hosting365 recently launched three new websites, hosting365.ie, servers365.ie and register365.ie and is the first independent Irish hosting organisation, apart from the tier one telecommunications carriers, to become a full fledged member of RIPE.
RIPE is one of four Regional Internet Registries (RIR) that exist in the world today, providing allocation and registration services that support the operation of the Internet globally
At the time, McCarron commented. “We are a pure technology company. We own our own servers and we now own our own IP space. When customers host with us they can be assured of the highest technical skills going. We don't resell space or lease on boxes in other jurisdictions. Becoming a member of RIPE means we are trustees of the Internet and can offer superior service and support to our customers.”
RIPE's role is to ensure the fair distribution of global Internet resources in the European region required for the stable and reliable operation of the Internet. This includes the allocation of Internet (IP) address space, autonomous system numbers and the management of reverse domain name space
“Becoming a member of RIPE was an arduous process but one which has contributed to our achieving our ambition of becoming the leading hosting company in Ireland – including the tier one ISPs,” says McCarron.
